It is important to understand that the purpose of meditation is not only to achieve a specific benefit. To achieve the best results, it is important to know how to meditate correctly.

In Buddhist philosophy, the main goal of meditation is to free the mind from attachment to aspects beyond its control, such as external circumstances or powerful emotions. An enlightened practitioner no longer succumbs to desires or clings to experiences, but instead maintains calm and inner harmony.
